Austria

Motzart's birthplace, Salzburg, Austria.

The yellow building on the card is the birthplace of Motzart and home to the most surreal, bizarre, and wonderfully odd museum I may ever have gone to.

This was one of the first two cards I received from Postcrossing.  I received this one and one from Belgium on the same day

Russia

Ivan Shishkin's Morning in a Pine Forrest 1889

Direct swap from Valery in Russia.

Added bonus: Russian and Soviet Union stamps!

Apparently Soviet stamps are still usable in Russia?  Can anyone verify this for me?  Or translate what the stamps say?

USA - Washington, DC

The Newseum, Washington, DC.

I got this card the first or second year that the Newseum (a museum for the news and, to an extent, the First Amendment right of free speech and freedom of the press) was opened.  It was probably the most expensive museum I went to in DC that year (The Smithsonian is free!  Tax dollars at work!), but totally worth it.
