USA - New York

From the American Museum of Natural History circa 1996.

Amber: Window to the Past.  The small gecko lizard is estimated to be 23-30 million years old and held in Dominican amber.  Apparently an x-ray revealed that the lizards bones are likely intact.  The postcard goes on to explain that the leaf in the amber was "probably [chewed] by a leaf-cutter bee."
